Specialist. Dr. Tuğba Korkmaz

Neurologist & Integrative Medicine Physician

I was born on March 21, 1984 in Buldan/Denizli. My education journey started in London, where I spent some of my childhood years, and then I completed my primary, secondary and high school education in Denizli.

I started my medical education at Ege University in 2002 and graduated in 2008. Then, between 2009 and 2011, I worked as a research assistant at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. I completed my neurology specialization at Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine between 2012 and 2016.

After completing my compulsory service as a neurologist at Manisa State Hospital, I continued my work at Manisa City Hospital and Tepecik Training and Research Hospital.

In 2020, I started working as a Physician Lecturer at Izmir Bakırçay University Faculty of Medicine. During this period, I directed my work by establishing special branch outpatient clinics such as Parkinson's disease / movement disorders, dementia, headache, interventional treatments for pain and botox, as well as general outpatient clinics and inpatient services.

In my career of more than 15 years, as a neurologist with a background in internal medicine, I have frequently encountered chronic diseases and neurodegenerative diseases. During this process, I realized that the classical perspective we learned in medical education was not sufficient in these areas. I have observed that a holistic approach that focuses on the roots of chronic diseases is much more effective in treatment.

Health; It is a state of balance in which our body is in harmony, and an important element of maintaining this balance is the intestines. The intestines provide this balance by functioning as a second brain.

In my treatments, I take care to emphasize the importance of nutrition while improving the health of my patients, taking as a guide the quote of Hippocrates, "Your food is your medicine, and your medicine is your food."

Combining the knowledge and experience I gained as a neurologist with a holistic perspective; I established my own surgery in January 2024, using methods such as neural therapy, ozone therapy, mesotherapy, GAPS (nutrition), functional medicine and additional support treatments.

In my surgery, I offer personalized holistic treatments based on scientific foundations, aiming to optimize the balance between individuals' body, mind and soul.
